Our Story
Ali Moosavi, owner of Avon Rug Gallery (formerly Moosavi Persian Rugs) in Avon, CT, takes pride in what he sells, and is happy to share his knowledge and appreciation of the fine art of Persian rug weaving. This family owned and operated business has been serving the Tri-State area for over 40 years.
About the Owner: Ali Moosavi, native of Iran, grew up traveling with his father and learning from the techniques of the Master Weavers of his homeland. Continuing the Moosavi legacy of Persian rug trade for six generations, he has been devoted to sharing the art of hand woven rugs and interior design since 1977.
Avon Rug Gallery offers unique modern, contemporary, traditional, antique and semi-antique Persian and Oriental handwoven rugs. We provide excellence in services including expert rug cleaning, rug repair, and rug appraisals.
